Mooswa Meat Grinder

July 22, 2023 was the inaugural Mooswa Meat Grinder, a gravel race in the Manitoba Parklands. This race starts and finishes in Erickson, Manitoba, just south of Riding Mountain National Park.

It is comprised of two loops - an 80 km A 120 km loop.

Need an introduction to gravel racing?

 

The 80 km course is the perfect option for you. This route will take you south to the Little Saskatchewan River Valley. You will traverse the valley a few times, then head back to Erickson.

​

Need something a little more advanced?

 

The 120 km course is for you. This route takes you east, to the East Escarpment on the edge of Riding Mountain National Park, where you will be treated to some gorgeous climbs on descents.

Just can't get enough gravel?

​

Then the 200 km option is for you - both 80 & 120 km loops.

​

This is a self-supported race. You are responsible for you. 

​

Whichever distance you choose, come out and join in the fun!

We have learned a lot and planning has started for the 2024 Mooswa Meat Grinder. 

​

For 2024, there will be minor changes to both the 80 & 120 km loops.
